Malea Kimberly's career began in theatre when she was 9 years old, in a musical review that introduced her to classic musicals like Newsies, West Side Story, and Wicked, and they've been dancing and singing ever since. You may have recently seen her in Shortbus, a live adaptation of the 2006 film, performing Burlesque at queer events in NYC, or as an extra in the Mean Girls movie musical. You can usually find her on Pinterest carefully creating the perfect outfit, or at Cubbyhole Bar wearing said outfit. Malea Kimberly is also very passionate about Black Lives Matter, Trans Rights, Reproductive Rights, and anything that threatens the health and safety of oppressed people. They hope to continue to work on projects of all kinds that are empowering and fulfilling.
